Rakesh is the Founder & CEO of Mobilous, a zero-programming, cross-platform, mobile app building technology company with team of about 30 across India, Japan and USA. Prior to setting up Mobilous Inc, Rakesh co-founded Opelin, a digital content management company, which was acquired by Hewlett-Packard (HP) in 2007. Earlier, he co-founded eCircle, one of India's first commodity exchange, which was acquired by Reliance in 2003. Most recently before Mobilous, as Director of Cloud Services at Hewlett-Packard, Rakesh was responsible for building Mobile Print-as-a-Service that allowed users to print seamlessly from any device via the cloud.
He started his career at Tata Steel and spent 9 years at various positions of engineering and marketing. A sports enthusiast, diver and a marathon runner, he also supports education-oriented NGO, Sunaay that has been set up by his wife.
Rakesh is a B. Tech from BIT and MBA from Xaviers Institute (XLRI) India.
