Charulatha was born and brought up in Chennai. Since she was in college, she wanted a career in animation but due to her family situation she couldn't pursue the same.
Finally after years of struggle she started visiting animation academies to learn more about the field. She finally picked Arena Animation Annanagar, Chenna, India, to pursue her education.
