Uttam Grandhi hails from the city of Visakhapatnam, India. He currently works as a Senior Designer at Airpush Inc. Bangalore. He holds a Diploma in Digital Character Animation from Vancouver Film School, Canada and a dual degree (M.Sc. Physics with B.E. Mechanical Engineering) from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani, India.
In 2009, he won the silver and bronze medals for his creations, Michelangelo (Sketching Robot) and Cyborg (Sculpture) respectively at ROBOGAMES, San Francisco. He has diverse interests ranging from illustration, design, typography, origami, sculpture to robotics. |
